No Brexit impact for HotBox International as sales stay strong
Demand for specialist horticultural equipment has shown no sign of slowing despite the UK’s decision to leave Europe, with HotBox International seeing a surge in sales over winter.
Much has been made over the potential impact of international trade as a result of the UK leaving the EU on December 31st.
However, sales have continued to hold up throughout January and February at HotBox International and Jill Thornton, Hotbox sales co-ordinator, says confidence is high.
“Many of our sales come from Europe and that is why we have recently invested into the development of a new website, in eight different languages, to offer the best service to our customers,” she said.
“Thankfully we have long-established relationships with distributors for our products across Europe and that has ensured we have been well prepared for this change and able to support of customers through any change in process.
“Our customers value dealing with us because of our experience and technical excellence, as with the support of CambridgeHok, we are able to supply equipment of the highest quality worldwide.
“Our message is clear. We have been largely unaffected by the exit from Europe, which remains a very important market to us and one in which we are working hard to further develop in the coming years.”
